Microcosm Photography

A microcosm is a “little world” where something on a small scale represents the same characteristics as that on a much larger scale. Derived from the Greek “mikros kosmos“, the medieval Latin term “microcosmus” was modified and used by scholars at the time to refer to humans as miniature embodiments of the natural universe (source).
